Ingredients
- 4 lbs. beef round steak
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 12 oz. can of beer
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 bottle of BBQ sauce
- Trim excess fat from steak and cut into chunks.
- Place in preheated slow cooker on high. Reduce to low.
- Stir to brown meat. Add remaining ingredients.
- Cook covered for 8 to 10 hours. Drain and shred.
- Replace meat and stir until well-covered with favorite bottled BBQ sauce.
- Serve on Hamburger buns or on a plate.
