Ingredients
  • 1 10 oz. package of frozen broccoli
  • 2 14 1/2 oz. cans chicken broth
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3/4 stick margarine
  • 3/4 lb. velveeta cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • salt and pepper
  1. Cook broccoli and chicken broth for 15 minutes.
  2. Saute onions in margarine until tender.
  3. Add flour and stir while adding milk to the onions.
  4. Cook until thick.
  5. Add to broccoli. Add the paprika and cheese. Stir until cheese melts.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste. Turn heat to low and simmer 30 minutes, stirring often.
