Ingredients
- 1 10 oz. package of frozen broccoli
- 2 14 1/2 oz. cans chicken broth
- 1 onion chopped
- 3/4 stick margarine
- 3/4 lb. velveeta cheese grated
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tsp. paprika
- salt and pepper
- Cook broccoli and chicken broth for 15 minutes.
- Saute onions in margarine until tender.
- Add flour and stir while adding milk to the onions.
- Cook until thick.
- Add to broccoli. Add the paprika and cheese. Stir until cheese melts.
- Add salt and pepper to taste. Turn heat to low and simmer 30 minutes, stirring often.
