Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 tsps. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanillla
- 1/2 sweet milk
- 1 1/4 cups fresh blueberries
- Sift together flour, baking powder, salt.
- Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat on high speed until light and fluffy.
- On low speed, beat in flour mixture alternately with sweet milk.
- Begin and end with flour. Beat only until smooth.
- Dust lightly with flour. Fold berries gently into batter. Fill greased muffin cups with batter 1/2 full.
- Bake 20-25 minutes in 375 oven. Serve warm. Makes 2 dozen.
