Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Remove meat from 4 chicken breasts. Cut across the grain into 1/2-inch strips. Sprinkle with salt and dip into batter.
- Fry in hot oil until done and golden brown.
- If desired, substitute garlic salt for the salt in the batter. Other spices can be added according to taste.
