Ingredients:

  • 1 package pecan halves to decorate the top
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 package chopped pecans for pie filling
Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375. 
  2. Spread chopped pecans and chocolates evenly on bottom of pie crust. 
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. 
  4. Pour mixture over chocolate chips and pecans into pie shell. 
  5. Bake for 30 minutes then place a pie shield. Cook 20-25 minutes longer.
  6. Place pecan halves and let cool.
